Home Town Trips
When Every Thursday, morning departures
Where: SOC, 17150 Waterloo
Cost: Varies per trip. $3 extra for non-residents
Make new friends and discover new places on SOC trips to interesting local destinations. Check the Events Calendar for more details.
- July 8 - Clinton River Cruise, departs 10:30 a.m., $45
- July 15 - Stahls Automotive Museum, departs 11:15 a.m., $30
- July 22 - Detroit Tigers Game, departs 11:45 a.m., $32
- July 29 - The Voyageur Restaurant, departs 10:15 a.m., $36
- August 5 - Motor City Casino, departs 9:00 a.m., $11
- August 12 - Huron Lady II, departs 10:00 a.m., $35
- August 19 - NO TRIP, Senior Fun Day, 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. WCCC.
- August 26 - American Polish Cultural Center - Wawel Restaurant, departs 10:45 a.m., $36
- September 2 - Heavenly Scent Herb Farm and Garden Lunch, departs 9:00 a.m., $47
All SOC sponsored trips include PAATS bus transportation unless otherwise noted and a box lunch to take home on Thursday trips!
Please note: If you require PAATS transportation between your home and SOC you must call (313) 343-2580 to make your reservation with them at least 36 hours in advance.
If you are planning to bring a wheelchair with you an a trip, please note so on the reservation form.
Monthly Movie and Pizza Lunch
When: Monthly on a Wednesday, 11 am to 1:30 pm
Where: SOC, 17150 Waterloo
Cost: $5 per person
This event is sponsored by ShorePointe Nursing Center, so come and enjoy a fun lunch consisting of pizza, salad, dessert, drinks and a box lunch to take home. Then, sit back, relax and watch a great movie among friends. Please call for reservations at 882-9600. See the Events Calendar for more details.
